How do I apply, and are there application deadlines?
You can search careers and apply anytime, right here online. All of our positions are open until filled, and the posting will be removed from our website once the position has been filled.
Where are your offices?
Vanguard is an industry leader whose offices, opportunities and impact span the globe. Vanguard is headquartered near historic Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, and has regional offices in Charlotte, North Carolina and Scottsdale, Arizona. Vanguard’s worldwide reach also includes our locations across Asia, Australia, Europe and North America.
How many PTO (paid-time-off) days do I receive at Vanguard?
You will receive 18 PTO days per year. PTO days will be pro-rated for crew members starting after January. You can purchase up to a week of additional PTO.
When will I hear back from Vanguard regarding a final hiring decision?
The time frame is generally 2 weeks after your interview.
When do my health benefits start?
Crew members are eligible for benefits on the first day of employment. We offer several health benefits plans to choose from.
I am an international student, do you offer sponsorship?
You must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident to be considered for our entry level positions and internship programs.
As a student, if I don’t need sponsorship for an internship, can I be considered?
Our internship programs areas serve as a pipeline for our full time opportunities, so you still need to be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to be considered for any entry level opportunity at this time, including the internship programs.
What is the minimum preferred GPA for internships and full time positions?

I am a freshman or sophomore and am looking into career opportunities?
Freshman and sophomores are encouraged to apply for our EXPLORE program to visit one of our campuses. We typically accept juniors, and some sophomores into our internship programs. However, sophomores are still welcome to apply and we may select a few each summer..
When do I need to start studying for the Series 7 examination?
Vanguard recommends you study 120 hours prior to orientation. You will have 4 weeks to study for the Series 7 at Vanguard and 1 week to study for the Series 63. You have 2 attempts at both exams. Examination books will be sent 2-3 months prior to your start date.
