Define the experience that investors have with Vanguard

As the Head of Engagement Strategy for Retail Marketing, you will play an integral part in establishing a new discipline for Vanguard that will enable us to build relationships with investors through ongoing interactions. In addition to creating and executing the vision for the channel marketing function, you will work across functional teams to weave together customer insights and journeys to make a lasting impact on the business.

In this role you will…

  • Oversee new engagement planning discipline for Retail Marketing defining engagement planning processes and identifying engagement planning best practices
  • Lead, develop and guide a team of 7 senior engagement planners and engagement planners who support multiple marketing initiatives
  • Play an instrumental leadership role in overseeing the development and direction of all customer engagement strategies to drive marketing objectives and support business prioritiesDrive the vision for using customer insights and journeys to drive integration of message, channel and content

Retail Marketing is in the midst of a unique transformation.  The leadership team has spent the last several months developing a future state organization that will enable us to become a leading marketing company.  Driven by core tenets of modern marketing – agile marketing, digital experience, Big Data, customer-centricity, compelling content, and marketing automation – we focused on designing structures and processes that will enable us to achieve new levels of retail growth.  We believe that transformation is a movement that requires alignment of team values and mindset to build a cohesive culture across our Marketing teams.  This is an extremely exciting time to be joining marketing and you will be playing a vital role in leading our transformation with other leaders.

What it takes

  • Minimum eight years related work experience, three years of marketing experience.

Undergraduate degree in Marketing or equivalent experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
