About the job

The Senior Investment Management Product Owner leads a team responsible for setting the strategic vision and multi-year roadmap for investment management in the area of process and decision automation. The automation product team aims to remove waste from the investment management process through the automation of manual tasks and seeks to deliver these outcomes by focussing on experimentation and on meaningful and powerful user experiences. The senior product owner should demonstrate a deep understanding of automation and the associated business areas along with demonstrating a broad degree of investment and technical acumen. Products have Investment Management Group and wider divisional implications.

Core Responsibilities

Leads product management activities for automation within the global Investment Management Front Office utilising automation and workflow tools, such as Appian and UI Path.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to create best practices that drive significant change to the client experience.
Coaches product teams towards best practices and learnings. Ensures delivery of messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary.
Partners with stakeholders to resolve production and implementation issues in a timely manner, and supports/drives escalations where required to enable rapid delivery.
Leads the planning, development and implementation of new products. Defines and analyses markets, developing detailed product features and requirements, and developing implementation plans.
Employs a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.
Participates in and provides recommendations for ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum of five years of relevant Delivery experience and three years of experience in leading product delivery initiatives.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
