We are looking for individuals who have a desire to continue to grow and develop skillsets in emerging technology, financial software development, quantitative best practices, and contribute to the investment teams.
Core Responsibilities
- Supports the design, development, and maintenance of sophisticated forecasting tools and quantitative modeling systems that support investment decision-making and trading decisions pertaining to quant investing
- Develops production analytical models.
- Creates and maintains financial software libraries and model process routines.
- Reviews and reconciles peer code changes with statistical certainty.
- Conceptualizes, codes, and builds new financial analytics based on knowledge of financial markets, securities, investment themes and new technologies.
- Builds effective working relationships to anticipate the needs of analysts and/or portfolio managers.
- Contributes to data architecture, analytics, and research process in support of portfolio managers and analysts.
- Participates in special projects with strong desire to continually develop quantitative investing acumen
Qualifications
- Two years in the Financial Services industry. Investment management experience preferred. Experience in statistical analyses and related statistical tools.
- Undergraduate degree in finance, computer science, mathematics, or statistics or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
