User Experience Strategist (Hybrid from NC or PA offices)

UX Strategist

Do you love the intersection of user-centered design and business strategy? We are looking for someone who has experience with architecture, content, journeys, and data to make the complex, simple. You will work with a passionate team to transform our website and digital channels to be one of the most important destinations for our clients. You will help our participants to be financially prepared for all life’s moments.

This role:

• Creates user experience interface architecture strategies and leads program-level initiatives to meet business and marketing goals. Leverages research, conceptualization, visual design, information architecture and data to resolve complex issues.

• Works with cross-divisional teams to coordinate and deliver design, prototype, and documentation to improve the user experience.

• Uses qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience. Analyzes data and user feedback in order to make critical design decisions.

• Collaborates with cross-divisional teams and product owners to define user and business requirements. Partners with the development team through to execution.

• Proactive, motivated, and collaborative to ensure you can take the lead while making sure you bring everyone along.

• You are a storyteller who can present solutions to senior leaders, internal partners, and stakeholders.

• Facilitate working sessions leveraging collaboration tools

• Serves as a mentor to junior designers

Qualifications

• Minimum five years related work experience, two years of User Experience or User Interface experience.

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience in a creative or technical field. Graduate degree preferred.

Special Factor : Vanguard is not offering visa sponsorship for this position. This role is part of our hybrid work model with Tuesdays through Thursdays in a Vanguard office to foster collaboration and team building. While Mondays and Fridays are remote, fully remote work is not available for this role.  Vanguard does offer paid relocation for this role.
