The Personal Investor Public Site serves as the front door to the Retail business. We aim to position Vanguard as the leading and obvious choice as your investment partner by delivering site experience that speak to the individual investor’s mindset and seamlessly guide them towards the product, service or information that best helps them meet their financial needs. We are a 150+ member product family with 9 agile teams and supporting functions aligned to a common strategy and focused on delivery and optimization of site journeys and experiences in support of fostering meaningful and relevant relationships with our investors.
In this role you will lead the strategic vision, product strategy, and roadmap for Personal Investor’s search experience, translating the needs of our authenticated and unauthenticated investors to intuitive business and product requirements. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to bridge client and prospect journeys, embrace and implement new technical capabilities, and delve into personalization all while partnering closely across Marketing, CXD, PI Tech, and MarTech.
You will guide a cross-functional product team, championing a best-in-class wayfinding experience to help our investors research, find, and complete their tasks. You will deep dive into topics like AI/ML, natural language processing, taxonomy/tagging, audience segmentation, and intent-based signals. You will need excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to achieve agreement with partners and stakeholders. Your impact will reach far beyond our clients and our business to set new standards for the industry.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Leads product management activities for multiple products, or one strategic product.
2. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to create best practices that drive significant change to the client experience.
3. Coaches product teams towards best practices and learnings. Ensures delivery of messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary.
4. Partners with stakeholders to resolve production and implementation issues in a timely manner, and supports/drives escalations where required to enable rapid delivery.
5. Leads the planning, development and implementation of new products. Defines and analyzes markets, developing detailed product features and requirements, and developing implementation plans.
6. Employs a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.
7. Participates in and provides recommendations for ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities.
8. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum of five years related work experience. Two years of leading large cross-functional teams on major organizational projects preferred.
