In this role you will create a wide variety of editorial copy that educates, informs, and motivates participants in employer-sponsored retirement plans of all sizes.
Duties and Responsibilities

Works effectively as a member of a team within PACE UX, responsible for creating education programs and other communications for participants in defined contribution and defined benefit retirement plans.

Researches and writes custom participant literature, including enrollment kits, newsletters, flyers, payroll stuffers, statement messages, Intranet articles, letters, and e-mails. Requirements range from communicating effectively about technical plan issues to creating persuasive marketing campaigns.

Demonstrates subject matter expertise, technical excellence, creativity, and initiative in the completion of assigned jobs.

Manages multiple projects simultaneously. Meets all internal and external client and production deadlines.

Delivers copy that is thorough and accurate, meets legal requirements, and is consistent with Vanguard style standards.

Establishes and maintains a working knowledge of Vanguard funds, the financial markets, employer-sponsored retirement plans, and retirement investment planning issues. Researches new topics as necessary.

May be aligned to specific clients.
Qualifications

B.A. or equivalent work experience.
-
Three to five or more years of writing experience. Three writing samples are required for consideration.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
Knowledge of Vanguard funds, retirement plans, and retirement planning concepts preferred.

Excellent project and time management skills.

Extreme attention to detail
-
Experience with a high volume, high-paced environment preferred.

Familiarity with design and print production process preferred.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Tech savvy—ability to learn new proprietary software systems
Special factor: This role is part of our hybrid work model with Tuesdays – Thursdays required in our offices to foster collaboration and relationships. On Mondays and Fridays, our crew will have the option to work remotely, or continue working from one of our offices in Malvern PA, Charlotte NC, or Scottsdale, AZ.
