As our Head of Institutional Audience Segments, you will develop and implement audience marketing programs, which you will scale across our Institutional (B2B) business. You will enhance Vanguard’s differentiation in the market place, providing a framework for all communications and experiences from the promotional to the operational while driving engagement and preference. These programs will be built in partnership with Institutional product marketing, Institutional digital marketing, Sales, Relationship Management and the Center for Analytics and Insights. You will be responsible for assessing the needs and behaviors of Vanguard’s institutional clients and prospects in order to recommend product, service and experience enhancements.

In this role you will…

  • Establish and influence strategic initiatives across the Institutional business that touch Vanguard’s core audiences.
  • Utilize your initiative and creativity in developing future plans and goals for Institutional Marketing.
  • Drive implementation across people, process and technology.
  • Lead with inspiration and manage execution.

What it takes.

  • Undergraduate degree required. MBA or Masters in Marketing or Communications preferred.
  • Minimum eight years general experience and eight years related marketing experience.
  • Management experience.
  • Experience in managing multi-channel, multi-segment marketing campaigns preferred.
  • Solid organizations skills and ability to work across multiple functions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams.
  • Demonstrated initiative.
  • Experience in managing multi-channel, multi-segment marketing campaigns preferred.
  • Experience with LEAN and Agile marketing methodologies
