We are seeking a highly accomplished, strategic, and influential leader to be the Head of Offer Management for our self-directed retail investors. As a senior leader in the Retail Offer Strategy department accountable to the Retail Investor Group leadership team, you’ll lead a team of Offer Strategy Analysts in identifying and analyzing market opportunities.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive the evolution and effectiveness of Vanguard’s products and services for do-it-yourself investors, ensuring our offer meets investors’ needs and improves their outcomes, builds sustainable competitive advantage, and contributes to the commercial success of the division.
  • Define features and benefits that meet client needs.
  • Evaluate solutions and develop business cases.
  • Guide offer delivery and go-to-market across the retail division, corporate partners, and external vendors/partners.
  • Articulate and align the multi-year offer strategy and roadmap; ; and, measuring, monitoring, and manage the ongoing health of the offer portfolio.
  • Participate in department-level and corporate-level strategic planning for Vanguard, contributing insights derived from analysis and synthesis of the team.
  • Conduct insightful research and analysis of strategic and competitive issues confronting the Bank channel. Interpret and strategically analyzes industry and Vanguard data to identify challenges and opportunities for the FAS business.

  • Exhibiting command of customer, competitive, strategic, and financial analysis.
  • Cultivating strategic and collaborative relationships across the retail division (e.g., Relationship Management and Sales, Marketing, Client Experience, etc.) and with key enterprise partners including Corporate Strategy, Corporate Finance, Innovation Studio, Investment Management, and the Center for Analytics and Insights.-

What it takes:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of eight years business experience, including significant experience in strategy consulting and financial analysis.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills to senior management.
  • Deep understanding of Vanguard’s primary business strategy in at least two of its five business segments.
  • Excellent project management and prioritization skills.
