Our leadership
Salim Ramji
Salim Ramji is chief executive officer of Vanguard and a member of the board of directors. His experience spans across a variety of leadership roles over the past 25 years in investments, capital markets, and wealth management, most notably with BlackRock and McKinsey & Company. He is a trustee of Graham Windham, a New York-based child-welfare organization, and serves on the international leadership council for the University of Toronto.
Nitin Tandon
Nitin Tandon is chief information officer and managing director of Vanguard’s Information Technology division, overseeing all aspects of the company’s use of technology to serve clients and manage investments. He joined Vanguard in 2019 to lead the Chief Technology Office and went on to lead the organization’s Retail and Corporate Systems within the Information Technology division prior to assuming his current post.
Venkatesh Natarajan
Venkatesh Natarajan leads the Vanguard Technology Office in Hyderabad, India. He joined Vanguard in 2019 to oversee enterprise digital marketing and analytics technologies. Most recently, Venkatesh led the Digital Channels for the Personal Investor division from a technology perspective.
Kim Petersen
Kim Petersen is the head of International Systems and Technology for Vanguard, where she is responsible for the delivery of technology solutions for Vanguard’s global businesses, as well as Information Technology governance, innovation, and technology strategy. Kim joined Vanguard with over 20 years of Information Technology experience in roles held across the automotive and aviation industries.

Vanguard’s use of leading technology is essential to our mission. The technology center in Hyderabad will drive our AI strategy, unlock the potential of our data and analytics, and support our mobile-first and cybersecurity initiatives.
