As a part of the Corporate Systems DevSecOps organization, you will pioneer industry-leading technologies and toolsets to enable our developers to innovate in record time. You will have the opportunity to enable the way product teams operate since it is crucial to its success in maturing their processes to follow industry practices within a DevSecOps world. You will be utilizing the SRE practices to minimize client impacts from outages, defects, and infrastructure failures. You will lead and manage all aspects of the management and remediation of identified security flaws within our development platforms. You will also coordinate release management, software development automation, QA assurance/testing, site reliability engineering (SRE), and operations across Corporate Systems engineering teams. You will lead Post Moterm discussions on incidents with the Corporate Systems product teams
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate cross-product chaos experimentation.
- Maintain the centralized incident response playbook for the subdivision to document standards for managing communication and escalation during an incident. Aggregate quantifiable data about availability to report back to senior leadership. Make contributions to centrally managed (IT-wide) inner source libraries for reliability.
- Facilitate blameless post-incident reviews for high severity incidents or incidents involving more than one product family.
- Regularly attend Reliability Engineering and Resilience communities of practice. Remain informed about site reliability engineering activities happening within the subdivision.
- Communicate new standards and newly available tools and frameworks across subdivisions. Enforce reliability standards.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
What it Takes:
- Minimum of five years related experience, with at least two years of development experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
