The Enterprise Data Center Operations Team, within Global Technology Operations, has an exciting new opportunity to join the team as a Mission Critical Facilities Project Manager. Our core purpose within the team is "Global management and oversight of our Data Centers, providing industry expertise to ensure a secure, operational, and resilient physical environment." We are looking for a candidate that will take ownership of the following:

Industry Standards on critical power sourcing, climate controls, & fire protection systems (supporting DCS Technology & Facility program workstreams).

Compliance Controls (facility operating effectiveness tester).
-
Colocations Facility Asset Management Inventory (including building profile & single lines)
-
Risk Assessment Programs (vulnerability research & industry watch list
In this role, you will:
-
Lead technology projects or multiple technical workstreams within a broader project or program. Develop, implement, and monitor project plans. Contribute expertise to major project work, milestones, and required tasks.

Provide insight on standard methodologies and common obstacles based on prior experiences. Serve as a trusted advisor to ensure strategies are aligned with the overall company strategy and market conditions.

Communicate project status and issue regularly to partners, including leaders, team members, and senior managers.
-
Build and maintain effective relationships. Proactively foster communication between internal and external project partners. Influence key decisions across partner groups.

Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks and any related issues on technology projects. Communicate solutions on key issues or projects to management and partners to obtain their input and buy-in as appropriate.

Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
What it takes:
-
An undergraduate degree required. Master's degree preferred
-
Minimum five years mission critical facilities experience with a minimum of two years of experience in data center services
-
Financial reporting and accountability experience preferred, with focus on capital and operating expenses.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
Strong relationship management skills as role entail significant interaction with a variety of external entities and internal senior leadership
-
Strategic and detail oriented; analytical within a team environment.
-
Engineering License or industry certification desirable.
-
Industry expertise in electrical and mechanical infrastructure operations.
-
Excellent project management skills.
-
Knowledge of computer software related to field such as Building Automation Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, CADD, CMMS/IWMS, and analytic platforms (Power BI)
