About Vanguard
More than 45 years ago, John C. Bogle had a vision to start an investment company that did things differently. A company with no external shareholders. Where all the profits were invested back into the business and used to lower costs. Evidently, it was as bold as it was brilliant. To this day, Vanguard Group still has no external shareholders. That means no share prices to protect, and no profits to generate for outside owners.
At Vanguard, our core purpose is simple- to take a stand for all investors, to treat them fairly and to give them the best chance for investment success. We strive to create an environment that supports inclusion, cultivating difference and equality. These core values are lived at the level of our crew, clients and the communities we serve worldwide.
Today, Vanguard is one of the world’s largest investment management companies, serving more than 50 million investors worldwide. For more than 25 years Vanguard Australia has been supporting individual investors, financial advisers, and superannuation members to achieve their long-term financial goals.
Invest in your success with the IMG Graduate Program
Australia is one of three major trading and portfolio management hubs for Vanguard globally. The investment management group is comprised of investment strategists, portfolio managers, traders, risk managers, and global shared services experts who are responsible for portfolio management, trading and research across the Asia Pacific region.
Graduates in the IMG program will experience a comprehensive approach to investing that employs a range of strategies across asset classes through four 6-month assignments in Vanguard’s investment teams such as: EIG (Equities), FIG (Fixed Income), ISG (Investment Strategy) and IMFR (Investment Management & Finance Risk). Global collaboration, industry and economic insights and risk-controlled investment management is at the heart of IMG as we support our clients to achieve their investment goals.
Following the completion of the program participants will have the opportunity to launch into a permanent role.
